Emanuel Wiemans

At the drum kit you’ll find the charismatic Emanuel. This frying Dutchman has got it all cookin’ in his kitchen: a hearty stew of jazz, soul and boogaloo with sixties flavor. He is a self-taught maestro, inspired by Max Roach, Elvin Jones and grew up playing in all the bars and music cafés in Amsterdam. He played in the last line-up of Wally Tax and Juicebox. Besides being a tight groovy drummer, Emanuel Wiemans is an graphic artist and Illustrator. Drums without shoes, drives a Vespa, occasionally shaves his beard.
